i dreamt tomorrow had a prettier face and had better things to say than: "you look like shit, what's your problem bitch? you can'tdo anything right."

today is my ex's birthday....

what sucks is that i look at the date and still think "oh, it's his birthday." ....it's been over two fucking years! i don't remember any of my other exes birthday's...so what the fuck? it has nothing to do with not being over him or anything like that...i guess after spending nearly three years with the asshole it's ingrained in my memory.

bad memory! bad!

in other un-exciting news....

i think i have the only dog in the world that will totally forgo pissing and shitting, to run around like a maniac for hours upon hours. i'm serious, my dog will completely "forget" to go to the bathroom the minute she gets off her leash. it doesn't matter if she hasn't gone for twelve hours..she won't go until i literally yell at her to go potty and threaten to take her ass home unless she does.

it's also rather interesting that during thunderstorms (see: outside the window at the most awesome spectacle of mother nature), my cat doesn't give a shit. she looks out the window and spectates...but my dog? jesus fucking christ--tail between legs, nervous hyper-spazz panting....she literally hides herself behind the toilet....well, as best as she can considering she is forty pounds and very leggy. and when the thunder gets louder, she hauls ass to my bathroom where she opens the cabinet, empties the cabinet, and crawls into the cabinet.

see? not only am i fucked up, but so is my dog....like mother like daughter eh?

and in more un-exciting news...

in my amass of free-time, i've actually made a reality out of the little idea i had a while back when i started reading the site that "reviewed" my blog. first time i read it i pretty much noticed it was the most subjective thing ever....it was based on what they liked and didn't like. i mean it's pretty much a forumla: hnt+dark template+colored text+content/words they can knit pick at=we hate you.

now, maybe this is just me being an idealist or too liberal in my opinion, but i think blogging is something personal enough that it goes beyond the aesthetic. someone feels what they have to say is important enough to put out there on the world wide web, and even if they just do it as a journal or as a past-time..it's something they put time and effort into.

it's personal.

what colors they chose, the template, the subject matter, everything that goes into a blog is purely personal. so, wouldn't it make more sense to take the review out of the subjective realm and into a more objective realm where the aesthetic and the subject matter aren't the total package?

i think so! and thus, my little idea of reviewing blogs for writing style and content as well as subject matter and aesthetics has come to fruition.

as a basic policy, i'm thinking if you're in my links list you're a no-go for me to review...but that's where other people could come into play...

i guess there's a lot of details for me to work out and figure out....but....hey, least i got this much started, no?
