i'm well aware that i look like neither of my parents....that's really not the point of this post, but, most people feel the need to point it out to me....mostly because blonde/brown eye+blonde/blue eye doesn't = dark hair, greenish brown eye......(and for those keeping track at home my bro is light brown/blue eye)....

ANYWAY!

back to my point.

wednesday, november 16th my momma goes in for the only surgery that i've ever seen her freak out over. she didn't freak out over the double bypass, or the hystorectomy, or the surgery to fix her hernia's....she took those in stride.....in this instance she's not freaked out because of the post op, or the fact it's surgery....nay nay....she's freaked out because she's awake during the entire surgery. why? because that's the only way to tell if the result of the surgery was a total success, or if she ends up having a stroke on the table.

hoy.

so to the woman who gave me life, and showed me how strong a woman can be while remaining calm, collected, and poised.....

who taught me the number one rule of never relying on anyone but yourself....

and who is nothing but a fantastic example of how to be the perfect mother....
