don't bother tryin' to say something clever, clever is as clever does..no matter what it say, i'm looking for a sign that says your for real this time

so i was sitting in tax law reading the code section about adjusted basis in the case a decendent grants the transfer 1 year prior to death, and figuring out what tax consequences that would have on my little fictitious character in the scenerio of the problem....when it kind of struck me:

i'm boring....

yea. that's right. i went from party girl to boring in the course of an undergrad. not that where i went was exciting, so i guess it's legit....but i'm boring now.


i'm 23 and i don't really go out during the week cause of school....i don't have sex with random people....i don't go out drinking copious amounts of alcohol....often......

the only time i ever really go out is friday and saturday (granted i usually stay out 'til 6am on each respective "night").....so...

i'm boring.

and i think i need to change that. any suggestions?!

    I say go out even less!! Skip the weekend! Do some quiet reading, learn to crochet and quilt. Start churning your own butter, buttah.

    Nah ...fuck that.

    As long as your extra fun and unboringness doesn't derail or negatively affect your school work, then do whatcha-whatcha want, whatcha want.

    Maybe there's a place with a hot mid-week scene that you can hit in the evenings. Jazz Tuesdays, or Creole Wednesdays, or Thumpin' Thursdays — something like that.

    But you're talking to a guy who doesn't even go out, at least not like that. I play golf now and again, play poker with some regularity, catch a movie now and then ... fuck ... I'M boring!

    Sass-- Glad I am not the only one! Hell back in the day I could stay out until 4AM sleep for 3 hours work all day. Nap and do it all over again. Now midnight rolls around and I feel like Cinderella!

    my brothers 29 and he still goes out and parties till 6am..and shows up for rounds at 7am....and does a 36 hour day...and then goes and parties after a two hour nap.

    god i love my genetics sometimes!!
